A palm tree in the snow? Anything is possible. Especially with Dorothy Bauer's fanciful brooches. This palm tree is all prong set and is very three dimensional. A show stopper in every way. 3 3/4" tall, 3" wide, 2" front to back.

Huge and sparkling is what to call this Dorothy Bauer sun brooch. Every rhinestone is prong set by hand. Heavy gold plating and the Bauer oval mark compose the back. The brooch is 5" in diameter.

Maya accents this bracelet with large chunks of tiger eye and obsidian, and a sprinkling of colored rhinestones. The antiqued metal work is ornate, and, if you look closely, you can see that the sides of the metal cuff are covered with metalic fabric in a tapestry pattern. This is truly a piece of art! The bracelet is 6 1/2" around with a 2" opening that makes it adjustable. The center medallion is 2 1/2" high.

Wonderful Dorothy Bauer brooch! This little turtle has personality!. Beautiful prong set blue and green rhinestones making a charming design on the turtle's back. The brooch is very three dimenional being 1 1/8" thick from top of shell down. He is 2 3/4" nose to tail and 1 1/2" flipper to flipper.

Sassy Scotty. A whimsical creation by French designer Pavone. Made of galalith (a derivative of skim milk) with a hand painted eye looking right at you. 3 1/2" nose to tail, 2" paw to ear, 1/4" thick. Signed Pavone on the back.

This sassy little tree by Dorothy Bauer has personality! Its stones are all prong set including the clear rhinestone "star" on the top. Bauer signature is on the back. The base is round so that the tree may be displayed when not being worn. 2 1/2" tall, 1 1/2" wide.

These real pearls in an unsigned necklace have personality. Their oval shape picks up much light and gives back a velvet-like glisten. It is a fun necklace, and its real! Pearls are 7 1/2mm by 9mm, approximately. The necklace is approximately 18" long.

American designer Patrice uses semi-precious stones in her jewelry. In this case olive jade and charoite with brass and vermilion for the pendant and earrings. The necklace itself is composed of freshwater pearls and gold plated chain. Necklace is 17", pendant is 3" by 2 1/2". The clip earrings are 1" square. Contemporary American designer Karen Bachman has created these elegant lucite bracelets. The oval one (1i)has an inner lining of gold and silver leaf and it is 10" around the outside and 5 1/2" around the inside. The opening is 1 1/4". It is 1 3/4" high and its wall is 3/4". Enormous and elegant is this Dorothy Bauer creation. The delicate body is like an elongated spool of antiqued wire. The shimmering wings are aurora borealis pronged rhinestones. A wonderful unique piece to add to (or start) a collection. 5" by 5".

Huge by any standard these Vrba clip earrings are a show stopper! The center light green stone is dome shaped and is surrounded by tiny clear rhinestones. The dangle sways upon movement as do the pearls that hang from it. Nameplates say Lawrence Vrba and made in USA. Total length 4". Dangle, including pearls, is 2" by 2 3/4".

This sleek and simple Maya purse is made of resin with a pattern simulating python skin. Maya frequently uses animal or plant textures in her designs and this wonderful purse is a good example of that. Purse and detachable chain are adorned with semi-precious stones as are most all of Maya's resin bags. Antiqued metal resembling copper frame the bag. Measurements are 5" by 5" with a depth front to back of 2 1/2". The chain is 45" end to end.
