Designed for Haskell by Larry Vrba in 1973. Made of gilded metal with plastic stones imitating jade (or perhaps end of day Bakelite?). Featured in "The Jewels of Miriam Haskell", page 202. Oval metal cartouche is marked Miriam Haskell. Bracelet is 2" high.

Outrageous is truly the word for these Kenneth Lane dangle earrings. All stones are prong set. 4 5/8" long from the top of the clip to the bottom of the middle drop. The dangle itself is 2 1/4" by 2 1/4".

Iridescent red, green, and blue enamel, pewter-like metal and clear rhinestones make up this lovely creature. Dark gray painted backing, heavy and with green rhinestone eyes. Hard to tell age on this piece, but I think newer than older, 1980-1990"s perhaps. 3" by 2 7/8".

Unusual for Haskell. This graceful brooch has a sleek contemporary look, yet it is older Haskell. The blue pieces are translucent, the white and green are opaque. The silver filigree backing is double tiered, typical of older Miriam Haskell. The oval cartouche is on the back. The brooch is 5 1/2" by 4".

The color combination in this DeLillo set is stunning! The faceted black glass beads are laced with turquoise roundels. The faceted red crystals are open back and the red is firey and gleaming. The red stones are surrounded by turquoise and black stones, all prong set by hand. This set was designed and executed by Robert Clark, chief designer for DeLillo, and former chief designer for Miriam Haskell. Sterling vermeil jelly belly sailfish with red glass eye and small clear rhinestones.Exquisite! His age is undetermined.He bears the oval Hobe plaque,but it seems unlikely that Hobe was the maker since Hobe never made jelly bellies.The brooch is of superb quality even if its parenthood is questionable. 3" by 2 3/4".

These deLillo clip earrings are chunky yet elegant. Gold plated metal and luscious red and clear rhinestones. As with all our deLillo jewelry, these earrings are from deLillo's personal archives and date from the early 1970's. 3" top to bottom, teardrop circumference is 2 1/2". Colorful! A fun set by Miriam Haskell. Designed in the 1970's to celebrate the Egyptian show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Gilt metal and glass beads. The necklace is signed on the scarab pendant, the clasp and on a metal tag. The clasp also has the patent number. The screwback/clip earrings have two Haskell signatures and the patent number. The necklace is 20" end to end. The scarab pendant is 2 1/2" long and 2" wide. The pharaoh earrings are 7/8" by 5/8".

This magnificent necklace was created for the House of DeLillo by Robert Clark in the early 1970s. Clark, former chief designer for Miriam Haskell, left to form a partnership with DeLillo in the late 1960's. Fantasy Jewels purchased this most unusual necklace from DeLillo/Clark personal collection. The necklace is heavily gold plated and all the hundreds of tiny rhinestones are hand set. This floral brooch and clip earrings set was designed by Lawrence Vrba for Miriam Haskell, and it bears the oval Haskell plaque on the ornate back of the brooch. Both brooch and earrings are composed of four layers, with the green petals providing a swirled, bubbled and crackled texture which adds to the richness of this elegant set. Brooch is 3 1/2" in diameter and 3/4" deep. Earrings are 2" by 1 1/2" and are 3/4" at deepest.

Fantastic!The finest in quality and design: the pearls, while false, look absolutely real, and the Venitian glass blue beads glow and shimmer in the light. Purchased in Venice in the 1970's. Clasp is marked PAULY,CVH. The necklace has four strands, the pendant six dangles. The necklace is 31" end to end, the pendant with dangles is 4 1/2", the lovely intricate sphere is 1 1/4" in diameter.

In the style of Paco Rabanne who introduced "metal clothing" in the late 1960's, this Italian halter is something you are not likely to see again. Light as a feather for ease of wearing, boldly chic, and great worn under, say, an open velvet jacket, or over a long halter-shaped dress. Purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue, New York City in 1967. Fits size eight, approximately.
