Unusual for Haskell. This graceful brooch has a sleek contemporary look, yet it is older Haskell. The blue pieces are translucent, the white and green are opaque. The silver filigree backing is double tiered, typical of older Miriam Haskell. The oval cartouche is on the back. The brooch is 5 1/2" by 4".

Light as a feather for ease of wearing, boldly chic, and great worn under, say, an open velvet jacket, or over a long halter-shaped dress. Purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue, New York City in 1967. Fits size eight, approximately.
