What a fun pin! Dorothy Bauer has a great sense of humor which is expressed in many of her charming creations. This brooch is very three dimensional. The ball of rhinestone "ice cream" is 3/4" from front to back and forms one half of a sphere. The brooch is 3" long and 1 1/2" wide. Great piece for the summer season!

Feisty and fun! Dorothy Bauer calls this critter a salamander, but he really be a fearsome dragon in disguise? Whichever, he is gorgeous. The pronged rhinestones present an unusual color combination that is very dramatic. He's a big guy,5 5/8" by 2 3/4" and his body and head are chunky. Bauer cartouche on the back, and two pin attachments to hold him in place.

American designer Patrice uses semi-precious stones in her jewelry. In this case olive jade and charoite with brass and vermilion for the pendant and earrings. Huge by any standard these Vrba clip earrings are a show stopper! The center light green stone is dome shaped and is surrounded by tiny clear rhinestones. The dangle sways upon movement as do the pearls that hang from it. Nameplates say Lawrence Vrba and made in USA. Total length 4". Dangle, including pearls, is 2" by 2 3/4".

Outrageous! To start with this Bauer bird is 6" long, has "tail feathers" dangling freely to pick up any movement, and is very three dimensional. The Austrian crystal stones are all prong set and range from irridescent green, to white, pink and gold. This parrot does everything but talk! The oval Bauer cartouche is on the back. The necklace is composed of vintage European glass, genuine jade and golden obsidian with brass and a string of genuine pearls. It may be worn looped at the bottom or doubled and then looped through. All things made by Patrice are of heirloom quality. The necklace is 48" end to end.

Maya accents this bracelet with large chunks of tiger eye and obsidian, and a sprinkling of colored rhinestones. The antiqued metal work is ornate, and, if you look closely, you can see that the sides of the metal cuff are covered with metalic fabric in a tapestry pattern. This is truly a piece of art!
