This intricate design uses various sizes of glass beads, enamel flowers, multi-colored rhinestones, large cabochons and gold plated metal. Unusual for Haskell. This graceful brooch has a sleek contemporary look, yet it is older Haskell. The blue pieces are translucent, the white and green are opaque. This magnificent necklace was created for the House of DeLillo by Robert Clark in the early 1970s. Clark, former chief designer for Miriam Haskell, left to form a partnership with DeLillo in the late 1960's. Fantasy Jewels purchased this most unusual necklace from DeLillo/Clark personal collection.
The necklace is heavily gold plated and all the hundreds of tiny rhinestones are hand set. The detail work on this amazing piece makes it an artwork and truly a collectors dream...
