Elegant and extremely wearable is this set by Miriam Haskell. In the necklace there are chains with tiny links, and a chain with long links that carries the the jade colored glass beads and faceted crystals. The round center of the necklace is very intricately designed with multiple levels and all prong set tiny rhinestones and a gold plated leaf design. A most elegant unsigned piece. The translucent glass stones shimmer in a rich red color. The stones are very interesting since the front side of the large square stones are beveled, while the under side of those stones are dome shaped with a carved checkerboard pattern. This makes all the more shimmer when the piece moves. The age of the necklace is hard to determine, probably mid 1900's, possibly the 1940's...

This Coro brooch is very talented. It can be worn as seen, or it can be removed from a bracket on the back and worn as two clips. Its flowers tremble (ok, wiggle) when the brooch moves. It is enameled and has lovely pave and channeled rhinestones. Each clip is marked Coro Duette. 3" by 1 5/8". Very chunky.

Trifari's earliest mark, TFK, is stamped on this rhodium plated brooch. From the 1920's, or more probably the 1930's. Classic Deco design. Unbacked glass saphire colored stone. Brooch is 2 1/2" wide, 1 1/2" high.

Great carved Bakelite fish with painted eye and lucite fin. Thick and heavy for its size. 3 1/8" wide, 3 1/8" high.
Wonderful, versatile sterling Coro clips. They can be worn together as a brooch as shown here, or separated and worn as clips (great on a hat or belt). The set has a patent number which dates its production as beginning in 1931. The back of the Duette has the patent number and is marked sterling and Coro Duette. The earrings are marked sterling. Duette measures 2 1/2" high, 2" wide. Earrings are 1 3/8" high, 1/2" wide.
Adorable cornucopias full of oranges, pears, tomatoes, carrots,leaves and more. Just plain fun. Clips 2" long, 1 1/2" at widest and 3/4" at deepest. Slip on earrings 1 1/4" long, 3/4" wide and 1/2" deep. This set did not pass my Bakelite test, but it may be Bakelite because the test is not fool proof.
