This Maya purse looks like elegant and lavish icing on a cake! Beautifully carved butterflies, flowers and leaves in iridescent pastel tones of pink, light blue and light green enhance the surface of the front. The back is flat and hangs nicely against the body. Please note that the background color is more of a beige/putty than the brownish tone the pictures show. The purse is 6"wide, 4 1/2" high and 2" deep. The silver plated chain with crystals and beads is 46" long.

International award winning designer Patrice presents a necklace and clip earrings made of vintage German glass and resin with brass, and a 24 K gold plated chain. The necklace hook to hook is 18", the chunky squares on the necklace and the earrings are 1" square and 3/4" deep. Note the beautiful design on the back of each square.

Maya's lovely resin purse with one sculpted flower to set it off. The man-made hand molded resin for Maya's purses comes from trees native to the Philippines.The resin body of the purse is hand polished and, then, semi precious stones--in this case carnelian, picture jasper and rock crystal nuggets--are added to purse and chain. Measurements of this purse are 6 1/2" by 4" by 2". Chain is 46" end to end.

Elegant single strand necklace by Maya. Contemporary American designer Maya uses semi precious stones, pearls, crystals and antiqued metal when creating her jewelry. In this lovely necklace she has combined Canada jade, fresh water stick pearls, citrine nuggets and bronze colored metal. Result? Fabulous! Total length end to end is 35". Maya has created this resin purse to rewsemble black snake skin. The resin used is a natural material from trees grown in the Philippines. It is molded and carved and its metal accents are copper in color. The metal chain sports semi-precious stones and crystals. The chain is detachable and may be worn as a belt. Purse is 6" high, 6 1/4" wide and 2" deep. The chain is 44" end to end. Maya name plate is on the back of the purse.

Maya chooses a delicate turquoise color for her resin purse. The snake skin pattern is, in some areas, dusted with gold leaf. Note the ornate clasp with gilt butterfly and flowers which are accented with glittering rhinestones and crystals. The charming pendant is composed of crystals and piwa pearls. The chain, which can also be worn as a necklace, is gold plated with chunks of turquoise, crystals and gold colored beads. Chain is 44". Purse is 7" wide, 3 1/2" high, 2 1/2" deep.

Maya's resin purse imitates snakeskin very beautifully. There is a lot going on here: metal butterflies, topaz rhinestones, crystals and tiger eye stones. 6 1/2 wide, 4" high,2 1/4" deep, chain 46" end to end.

Maya frequently presents an oriental theme in her purses.This one is even more special than most. Under the resin surface is (quoted from Maya) "Special 'Geisha' painting by renowned painter: Art Zamora for Maya as signed." The front, and especially the back, of the purse are heavily carved/molded. The 46" chain features faceted citrine and crystal beads. Purse is 8 1/2" wide 5" high, 2" deep.

Maya frequently uses semi-precious stones in her jewelry and purses. In this bold necklace she uses a combination of large amethyst chunks and similar chunks of polished smoky topaz with antiqued metal beads. A striking contemporary necklace by Maya! Karen Smith, a contemporary American artisan, refers to herself as a "knotter of miniature tapestry adornments." She designs knotting patterns in washable nylon thread and integrates them with gemstones. This particular necklace is composed of a serpentine dragon carving with amethyst, turquoise, black onyx, jade and goldstone beads. It is hand signed Karen Smith '06 on the back. It is a remarkable and outstanding artwork! I measures 28" end to end (measured using the inside string of beads).

With its delicately colored ice blue rhinestones, this Dorothy Bauer pin is elegant. The large navette stones are all prong set and surrounded by tiny rhinestones of varying subtle colors designed to highlight the beauty of the large stones. The base is circular so that will stand alone for display when not being worn. Very chunky and three dimensional. 2 1/4" by 2".

This contemporary brooch by French designer Pavone is made of galalith (a plastic derived from skim milk!). The little cat just oozes sassy personality and begs to be taken home by a cat lover. He is three levels thick--head and paws front level, body second level, and tail the third level. Great design. 3 1/2" tall, 1 3/4" wide. Pavone signature on the back of the brooch.
