This magnificent necklace was created for the House of DeLillo by Robert Clark in the early 1970s. Clark, former chief designer for Miriam Haskell, left to form a partnership with DeLillo in the late 1960's. Fantasy Jewels purchased this most unusual necklace from DeLillo/Clark personal collection.
The necklace is heavily gold plated and all the hundreds of tiny rhinestones are hand set. The detail work on this amazing piece makes it an artwork and truly a collectors dream. The multiple pictures show how chunky the necklace is, an note the sophisticated construction of the back. Inside around the neck, 14 1/4", triangular stars pendant, 7 1/2" long, five stars across, 8" point of end star to its opposite.
