This Maya purse is molded of tree resin from the Philippines and has the look of python skin, and in blue denim no less. A fun purse to wear with jeans or with the most elegant of outfits. Blue chalcedony, piwa pearls and glass beads along with a silver plated 46" chain enhance this delightful purse. 6" wide, 4 1/2" high and 2 1/2" deep.

Maya presents, in sculpted resin, a winged female figure. Her gown displays a lovely floral pattern and her outstretched arms give the feeling of movement. Fresh water pearls, rose quartz chips and crystal nuggets complete the picture. Maya's cartouche is on the back. A cloth storage bag with Maya's signature is included. Measurements are 6 1/2" by 7 1/2" and 2" from front to back. Chain is 46" end to end.

A Dorothy Bauer LIMITED EDITION, number 56/120. Lovely Austrian crystal large stones in sparkling bright colors. All stones are prong set, and the form is constructed and soldered by hand. The Bauer cartouche is on the back and 56/120 is scratched on the base. The round base allows the tree to be free standing so it may be used as a delightful decoration when not being worn. A white leather-like pouch is provided along with a collector's record and description...

One of Maya's most elegant creations, this purse is a gem. Its resin base is enhanced with shimmering gold highlights and carved smoky flowers that are encrusted with faceted black and gray iridescent beads and smoky colored rhinestones. The 44" chain presents smoky topaz and crystal beads. Purse is 7" wide, 5" high and 2" deep.

Pure elegance by Maya! Black carved resin with hint of gold frost touching the most prominent points of the carving. Along with the swans there are reeds and other plants making up the carved places on both front and back. The purse and the 44" chain are encrusted with crystals, beads and piwa pearls. Karen Smith, a contemporary American artisan, refers to herself as a "knotter of miniature tapestry adornments." She designs knotting patterns in washable nylon thread and integrates them with gemstones. This particular necklace is composed of a serpentine dragon carving with amethyst, turquoise, black onyx, jade and goldstone beads. It is hand signed Karen Smith '06 on the back. It is a remarkable and outstanding artwork! I measures 28" end to end (measured using the inside string of beads).

Maya frequently uses semi-precious stones in her jewelry and purses. In this bold necklace she uses a combination of large amethyst chunks and similar chunks of polished smoky topaz with antiqued metal beads. A striking contemporary necklace by Maya! Necklace is 39" end to end. Pendant is 3 5/8" long.

Elegant single strand necklace by Maya. Contemporary American designer Maya uses semi precious stones, pearls, crystals and antiqued metal when creating her jewelry. In this lovely necklace she has combined Canada jade, fresh water stick pearls, citrine nuggets and bronze colored metal. Result? Fabulous! Total length end to end is 35". According to the designer, dichroic means that it has more than one color, especially when viewed from different angles, and it is pure color that glimmers and shines like a mirror. Elegant carving of flowers and branches in this resin purse by Maya. The gold plated medallion presents onyx and carnelian. This lovely Patrice set shows the beautiful crafting and design typical of Patrice. The bracelet is antiqued brass with the addition of synthetic cats eye and genuine garnet.
