Wonderful Dorothy Bauer brooch! This little turtle has personality!. Beautiful prong set blue and green rhinestones making a charming design on the turtle's back. The brooch is very three dimenional being 1 1/8" thick from top of shell down. He is 2 3/4" nose to tail and 1 1/2" flipper to flipper.

Enormous and elegant is this Dorothy Bauer creation. The delicate body is like an elongated spool of antiqued wire. The shimmering wings are aurora borealis pronged rhinestones. A wonderful unique piece to add to (or start) a collection. 5" by 5".

Contemporary American designer Patrice uses vintage European glass from the 1930-40's, brass and gold plated mesh to create this masterwork. Huge by any standard these Vrba clip earrings are a show stopper! The center light green stone is dome shaped and is surrounded by tiny clear rhinestones. The dangle sways upon movement as do the pearls that hang from it. Nameplates say Lawrence Vrba and made in USA. Total length 4". Dangle, including pearls, is 2" by 2 3/4".

This sleek and simple Maya purse is made of resin with a pattern simulating python skin. Maya frequently uses animal or plant textures in her designs and this wonderful purse is a good example of that. Purse and detachable chain are adorned with semi-precious stones as are most all of Maya's resin bags. Antiqued metal resembling copper frame the bag. Huge and sparkling is what to call this Dorothy Bauer sun brooch. Every rhinestone is prong set by hand. Heavy gold plating and the Bauer oval mark compose the back. The brooch is 5" in diameter.

The frogs(two)pendant is antique and is from Tibet. The frogs are a symbol of prosperity. the beads are Chinese turquoise and red and yellow jasper combined with sterling silver. Note the lovely design on the reverse side of the pendant. Necklace is 17" end to end. Pendant is 2 1/2" nose to foot, and 1 5/8" side to side.

Maya accents this bracelet with large chunks of tiger eye and obsidian, and a sprinkling of colored rhinestones. Contemporary French designer Pavone has created this charming piece to make you smile. He is made of galalith (an early plastic first used around the beginning of the last century. It is a protein derived from skim milk.) and presents a very contemporary design. The yellow "flowers" are small spheres. 3 1/2" high, 2" at widest, 1/4" thick. Signed Pavone on the back. White highlights do not exist on the piece, they are reflections the light used to take his picture.
